I slept above at a friend’s property. We made the decision to dress up as ninjas and play a trick on her younger brothers, sleeping within the basement. Although sneaking down the stairs, in the dark, her mother came residence. Thinking I was a robber, she beat me with a lamp.

Nice selection. I think you will find that most artists and their management are not clued up on Twitter. They only went as far as Facebook, which sorely still lacks the 1-on-1 realtime quality of Twitter. I suppose they heard of twitter but they had expectations of it working the same way as Facebook (i.e "what's so special about a website that only serves status updates? I can do that and a lot more on Facebook!"). I suppose most people have not realised that it's the wide selection of applications built around the twitter api that have made it so valuable (e.g twhirl, tweetdeck, etc.). I think that's where a bit of education is needed. Let's hope that in time everyone will wise up and realise what they are missing by being twitterless.

Is there something to be said about the ever growing youth who are increasingly switched off and uninterested in politics ?

Will a blog entry on
/\/\$|-|1|\|1 \/\/4/\/\1 (Mshini Wami in Leet Speak) interest your average first time voter any more efficient than yet another election manifesto at a rally ?

I dont know.

I guess I just want my potential member of parliament work harder for my vote than the lates incarnation of the CODESA or TWALTSA dance, and I want him to reach me for the comfort of my chair, surely that isn’t so ambitous ?
